Defined Performance provides service and products to you, our valued customer. By accessing any page on this site, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions which may be updated by us from time to time without notice.

The purchaser, recipient of a loaned item, or user of any product(s) distributed, sold, loaned, or manufactured by Defined Performance is responsible for proper installation and use of all products. Altering any motor vehicle from its stock configuration can be dangerous and/or cause failure. By purchasing or using any product(s) distributed, sold, or manufactured by Defined Performance the purchaser or user is agreeing that the purchaser or user either has the expertise to properly install, set, and operate the product(s), or will obtain competent professional installation services and expertise permitting proper use at their own expense. No guarantee is implied in regards to fitment or application of any product(s).

Defined Performance, any entity associated with Defined Performance, the manufacturers of products sold by Defined Performance, and retailers and/or distributors of products provided by Defined Performance are not liable for any damages or injury that may arise, either directly or indirectly, from installation or use of the products offered for sale by Defined Performance. The purchaser or user of any product(s) distributed, sold, or manufactured by Defined Performance assumes all risks related to and/or arising from the ownership or use of said products and agrees to indemnify and hold Defined Performance harmless from any and all claims brought to any person or entity against Defined Performance related to and/or arising from ownership and/or use of said products.

Some products may not be lawful for use on public roadways. No warranty is made or implied regarding the legality of offered products when they are installed in a motor vehicle in any particular state, province, or municipality. It is the user's responsibility to determine the legality of any automotive alterations made in connection to products made by, obtained form, or distributed by Defined Performance. Federal and many state laws prohibit the removal, modification, or rendering inoperable of any device or element of design affecting vehicle emission or safety in a vehicle used on public roadways. Violation of such laws may subject the owner or user to a fine or penalty. Vehicles modified by the use of performance parts may no longer be lawfully used on public roadways. Modification of a vehicle in any way may void the warranty coverage, if any, on a motor vehicle.

Warranty Information

The purchaser or user must place any requests for warranty service and/or technical support by contacting the manufacturer(s) directly. Defined Performance implies no warranty initially or in addition to the manufacturer’s warranty.

Signature Requirements

All packages are shipped with a signature requirement as outlined below unless otherwise requested. If you would like your package shipped without a signature requirement please make a note on your order so that we can send you the appropriate release of liability documentation.

Indirect Signature: All packages valued less than $1000 will be shipped with an indirect signature requirement. These packages can be signed for at the delivery address or by an indirect source such as an apartment manager or front desk receptionist. If delivery is attempted you also have the option to sign the door tag and release liability so that the package can be left the following day.

Direct Signature: All packages valued over $1000 will be shipped with a direct signature requirement. A direct signature from an adult at the delivery address will be required. Alternatively, the addressee can pick up the package from the local facility of the shipping carrier with appropriate photo identification.

Return Policy

All return requests must be made within 30 days from the date of purchase and are at the discretion of Defined Performance. If approved a restocking fee of up to 25% may be required and will vary depending on the product and shipping location, please contact us for information specific to your situation. Special order and electronic items cannot be returned under any circumstance. For warranty information please contact the product's manufacturer.
